Crushed rocks pears white peaches and hints of earthiness are some of the nuances that emerge from Scubla's 2010 Friulano. There is an understated weightless expression to the fruit here that I find especially striking. The Friulano fleshes out beautifully on the mid-palate and finish acquiring additional volume but without losing its essential minerality. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2015. --- Antonio Galloni
