Wine Spectator - Wine Spectator, April 2012
Toasted velvety style with ample sweet spice and red licorice notes leading the way but a solid core of plum and blackberry behind. More power than purity in the end but still solid.-J.M.

From Michel Gracia, this beautiful 2011 exhibits plenty of raspberry, blueberry, camphor and graphite notes intermixed with hints of forest floor and spring flowers. Complex, medium to full-bodied and layered, it possesses a rich mid-range and a long, opulent finish. Consume it over the next decade. - Robert Parker

Dark purple color. This second wine of Gracia is rich and ripe belying its status. Notes of grilled meats pair with cinnamon and black fruits on the nose enlivened by intense minerality. The palate is firm and powerful with balanced tannins and high acidity. Coffee and truffle flavors emerge on the finish. Give this a year or two after bottling and enjoy for the following 10 years. Drink 2015-2025.
