Situated in Lugon near Fronsac; owned by the dynamic Jean-Philippe Janoueix (of La Confession and La Croix St. Georges). A 55-hectare property with vines averaging 36 years-old the wine is aged in one-third new French oak. A dark yet pretty wine the nose has aromas of red and black fruits crushed rock and touch of oak. Chewy on the palate with medium-grained tannins and a medium-plus length finish. Balanced acidity and an overall very nice wine. Enjoy on release and over the following 6-8 years.
