The wine spends 16 months in 45% new oak followed by 12 months in one year old barrels. Opaque purple core with a fuchsia rim. Perfumed cherry blossom and minerals on the nose lead to black cherry and cassis flavors with a backwards almost liquid minerality earthy tar creosote and pain grille on the weighty palate.
