The gorgeous Clos de la Roche 2011 from Domaine Arlaud offers open red cherries and wild strawberry scents on the pure and feminine bouquet that has superb vigor. The palate is medium-bodied with fleshy ripe and rounded tannins that feel totally in sync with the racy acidity. This stylish grand cru gradually gains momentum, leading a really quite vital and vibrant finish that is spicy and feisty. There is a great deal going on within this Clos de la Roche and comes highly recommended. - Neal Martin
