This brilliant wine is dry and tart in acidity, minerally, and supremely refined in Meyer lemons, pears, limes and tart apples. This brilliant wine is dry and tart in acidity, minerally, and supremely refined in Meyer lemons, pears, limes and tart apples. It’s not one of those fat Chardonnays that melts in the mouth, but instead has firm texture and elegant complexity. It makes a beautiful accompaniment to grilled salmon, crab cakes, or a simple but glorious roasted chicken. Don’t drink it too cold.

Aromas of ripe red apples dusted with vanilla and sweet spice dominate the nose. Sweet tart flavors pop on the attack with green apple, pear, lemon curd and citrus peel wrapped in a round and weighty midpalate. A nice bit... Aromas of ripe red apples dusted with vanilla and sweet spice dominate the nose. Sweet tart flavors pop on the attack with green apple, pear, lemon curd and citrus peel wrapped in a round and weighty midpalate. A nice bit of acidity lifts the finish to keep this well made Chard from feeling too heavy. A great food wine to pair with meaty seafood like crab stuffed trout or a creamy pasta. 91+
