An expressive, cool and elegant nose offers up airy aromas of red pinot fruit and wet stone hints. There is a lovely mouth feel to the mineral-inflected medium weight flavors that possess good depth and salinity on the mildly dry finish where noticeable wood appears. This is really very good in terms of complexity and mouth feel though the balance isn't perfect. I would give this a few years in the cellar and then serve with an appropriate food pairing to buffer what are likely to be somewhat drying tannins.
