Dark purple core, and ruby rim. Like previous vintages the nose is brilliant and layered with rich mocha, ripe red and dark berries, with light bits of mint and earth intertwining well. The palate reveals a bit of a firmer structure than past vintages with a silky round texture that is immediately approachable fortified by balanced acid and tannin. An array of harder cow and sheep’s milk cheeses in addition to dishes with red sauces and roasted meats will pair well here. Enjoy over the next 15 years with ease
