Deep opaque purple at the core with a slightly lighter dark, ruby rim. The nose is a veritable basket of summer fruit with notes of red raspberry, blueberry, blackberry, plum, and cherry taking center stage. Secondary aromas of violets, eucalyptus, mint, leather and charred oak add complexity. This is full bodied, but not heavy or cloying as there is a vibrant streak of acidity and a medium, fine grained tannic profile to keep things in check.
