The 2012 Jubilo is a Bordeaux-styled blend of 60% Malbec and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon from Vista Flores and La Consulta. It is ripe, with notes of graphite, cedar wood, damsons and blackberries, indicating that the Cabernet steals the show. The palate is also ripe and full-bodied, with gritty tannins and good acidity, big and concentrated but somehow with enough elegance and lightness. It needs time. Drink 2016-2021. - Luis Gutierrez
