There is enough oak to mention framing the elegant, airy and fresh nose that offers up ripe (but not really exotic) aromas of honeysuckle, citrus, and pear. The attractively generous and relatively forward middle weight flavors offer fine intensity before culminating an appealingly textured and precise finish that is attractively dry and sneakily persistent. This mildly woody effort is already drinking well though I would be inclined to allow a few more years of cellaring first.

91+ Pale, bright yellow. Apple, spices and an element of high-toned oak on the nose. Juicy and tight on the palate, with intense apple and lemon flavors showing good definition and grip. I like the balance of fruit sweetness and acidity here but this wine needs time to gain pliancy. Spicy on the aftertaste.
