A juicy, fleshy red, exhibiting pretty strawberry and cherry flavors tinged by oak spice. Firmly structured, elegant and silky in texture, opening with air and winding into a lingering, spicy finish. Best from 2018 through 2032. 180 cases imported. –BS

(BH89-91 points) More measured amounts of wood and menthol elements are present but do not dominate the cool and very pure essence of red currant, forest floor, earth and, like the Grèves, soft sauvage nuances. I like the sense of tension and vibrancy given off by the medium weight plus flavors that possess plenty of minerality before delivering fine length on the dusty and moderately austere finish. This isn’t dry but would be fair to say that it’s no charmer either. 2021+

(WA89-91 points) The 2013 Corton-Pougets Grand Cru (under the Domaine des Heritiers Jadot label) has a slightly high-toned, quite opulent bouquet with kirsch, cassis and raspberry preserve scents that gradually calm down in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, a fine line of acidity and a slightly "blocky" finish that does not quite possess the finesse of the Corton-Greves at this premature stage. Hopefully, it will mellow and manifest more refinement when in bottle. - Neal Martin
