Unapproachable, cool and aristocratic on the nose, the 2013 Stromberg GG reveals very deep, stony, flinty and mineral-scented aromas of limes and grapefruit on the nose. Deep and almost succulent yet refined and also filigreed in its firm and crackling structure, this intense wine is another great dry German Riesling made for eternity. The Stromberg was never reallocated, so the vines which survived are up to 80 years old. - Stephan Reinhardt
