I almost didn't notice it was a Cabernet when I put my nose in the glass of the 2013 Terroir Series Cabernet Sauvignon Finca Laborde Edición Limitada, as it's juicy and pungent with flowers and cherries, but with time, the variety emerged. It comes from an old parral on very stony soils. The Limited Edition (or Edición Limitada) comes from fruit from their own vineyards, as is the case here. They started producing this Cabernet in 2012, as previously it was only Malbec. It's elegant and at the same time powerful, with sleek, sophisticated tannins. A superb Cabernet. - Luis Gutiérrez
