There is a more subtle, high-toned wood spice element that lingers behind the primary fruit flavors, adding complexity. These flavors persist, and you can really feel the strength and depth of this vintage for Napa Cabernet in the rich, unctuous, and powerful presence on the palate. Still very young and tightly wound, yet the ripe fruit flavors are irresistible. A thread of acidity adds a refreshing finish. This wine will only improve over the next 10 years.
