Deep and almost succulent yet refined and also filigreed in its firm and crackling structure, this intense wine is another great dry German Riesling made for eternity. The Stromberg was never reallocated, so the vines which survived are up to 80 years old. - Stephan Reinhardt

To me the Stromberg is the racy one, even more so in the 2013 vintage, where acidity is aplenty. Its fresh and crunchy citrus fruit leaves a titillating tingle on the tongue and in my first summing up I noted it down as a racy little number. On second thoughts: forget the little. 18.5/20 (MS)
