As with the second wine, this 2014 is a little subdued right now. Silky, smooth, balanced, elegant, plenty of classic St-Julien notes and will be delicious with food. I would give 5 to 8 years before really getting going...
As with the second wine, this 2014 is a little subdued right now. Silky, smooth, balanced, elegant, plenty of classic St-Julien notes and will be delicious with food. I would give 5 to 8 years before really getting going, but the flavours here are well defined, cassis and liquorice. Gently opens in the glass for soft cinnamon spices. 60% new oak. 2% Cabernet Franc makes up the blend.
