(JG93-94 points) The 2014 les Amoureuses here is also outstanding, but it will want a couple of years more in the cellar to fully blossom than the Premier Cru cuvée. The bouquet is pure and very floral in personality this year, jumping from the glass in a gorgeous blend of plums, black cherries, pomegranate, cocoa, a touch of nutskin, floral tones redolent of roses and peonies, woodsmoke and a whisper of new wood. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and very sappy at the core, with lovely layers of soil tones, suave tannins and a long, focused and very classy finish. This too seems likely to be a very velvety wine when it has fully blossomed.
