The 2014 Mâcon-Verzé was served from magnum, a wine that I do not often taste and I will have to put that right since this has a wonderful, gun flint bouquet that you would immediately nail as Leflaive. The palate is well balanced with crisp acidity, nice weight in the mouth with hints of Granny Smith Apple and subtle earthy scents towards the finish. If you want a perfect introduction to the winemaking style of the domaine, I would come directly here. Tasted December 2016. - Neal Martin
