92+ The parcel of Mont de Milieu that Domaine Fèvre makes this wine from is planted with very, very old vines, which only produced twenty hectoliters per hectare in 2014. The domaine used to buy the grapes from this parcel and were finally given the opportunity to purchase the vines in 2010. The wine in 2014 was still in tank and was showing superbly well, jumping from the glass in a blend of lime, green apple, wet stones, citrus zest, flinty overtones and a smoky topnote. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, racy and rock solid at the core, with excellent focus and grip and a very long, complex and minerally finish. A really superb vintage for the Mont de Milieu this year. (Drink between 2016-2035)
