The 2014 Janzen Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon sports a very deep garnet-purple color and exotic nose of Indian spices, smoked meats and sandalwood over a core of crème de cassis, baked black berries and blueberry pie with wafts of dried roses and oolong tea. Full-bodied, rich, opulent and seductive, it has beautifully plush tannins and just enough freshness to support the generous fruit, finishing very long and very sexy. 210 cases were made. -Lisa Perrotti-Brown

The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard is another uber ripe, incredibly sexy wine from this estate. Based off 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, its saturated purple/plum color is followed by a smorgasbord of ripe plum, blackcurrants, incense, roasted herbs and chocolate. Slightly more lifted than the Missouri Hopper, with serious richness and opulence, it's certainly not for those craving old-world aromas or favors, yet is a gorgeous Cabernet Sauvignon.
