Molitor's 2014 Riesling Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Auslese *** (Golden Capsule) has a yellow-golden color and displays a very clear and precise, rather warm and tropical bouquet of fully ripe, perfectly selected Riesling berries. Very delicate and filigreed on the finesse-full and frisky palate, this wine reveals a great purity, elegance and perfect sweetness, as well as a serious (tannin) structure and great, intense length. This Auslese is more lush and sensual than the corresponding Bockstein, but its intensity and tension is the same. The acidity is just delicate and fine, and brings out the crystalline character of the Sonnenuhr. This is another beauty of the 2014 vintage. - Stephan Reinhardt
