From a rocky site in the Conn Valley, the 2014 Syrah Rogers La Herradura Vineyard was destemmed and brought up in French oak before being bottled unfined and unfiltered. Its deep purple color is followed by a ripe, sexy Syrah that has classic gamy blue fruits, lavender, tapenade, and peppery aromas and flavors. It's relatively forward and very much in the style of the 2014 vintage, yet has beautiful purity of fruit, medium to full body, and a big finish. Drink it any time over the coming 7-8 years.
