(92-94 points) The 2015 Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes has the same percentage of whole bunch fruit as the regular village cru (60%). It has an exquisite bouquet, perfumed and intense with seductive aromas of red cherry, crushed strawberry and raspberry, real Pinoté coming from the glass here. The palate has a touch more sucrosity than the village cru, yet it maintains balance and precision. It fans out with careless abandon towards the finish with blood orange and quince notes lending complexity. This is utterly charming, fresh and vital, a Gevrey that should give 15-20 years drinking pleasure. - Neal Martin
