Sporting a medium gold color, the 2015 Vaucluse Blanc is a blend of just about every white variety out there, but is largely Grenache Blanc. It offers a rich, backward bouquet of ripe peach, caramelized pineapple, honeysuckle, and pear. Medium-bodied, concentrated, and balanced, with a layered texture, it’s an interesting white that I suspect will be better in 6-12 months and keep for 3-4 years. It’s geared for the dinner table.
