Possibly the world’s most recognized and iconic Champagne, Moet & Chandon Dom Perignon is always a vintage-dated wine comprised of the classic varieties Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Elegant and graceful with excellent aging potential, it is produced only in those harvest years that the Chef de Cave declares to be of exceptional quality.

Dom. Pierre Perignon, revered as the spiritual “Father of Champagne”, was a 17th century Benedictine Monk and cellar master at Benedictine Abbey of Hautvillers. He had a singular mission: to create the best wine in the world. To that mission, he dedicated 47 years of his life to invent and perfect the techniques to create a wine whose reputation knows no equal. His life-long work acquired a reputation for excellence which spread rapidly throughout the region, including the favor of the Royal Court during the reign of King Louis XIV.

Today, Richard Geoffroy, Chef de Cave and Creator of Dom Perignon Vintages, perpetuates the spirit of Dom. Pierre Perignon. The wine is produced by Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton, the largest luxury brand group in the world.

The 2015 Moet Chandon Dom Perignon is a Champagne blend from the renowned Champagne region of France. As a product of Moet Chandon, a prestigious producer with a storied history, this vintage carries the expectations of high quality and excellence synonymous with its name. The Champagne comes in a classic white wine presentation, typical of the region's traditional styles.

While the reviews for this particular vintage are not currently available, it's worth noting that Dom Perignon is often celebrated for its complexity and elegance. Historically, Dom Perignon Champagnes are known for their fine balance of fruit and acidity, with a creamy texture that enhances the drinking experience. The 2015 vintage, like its predecessors, is likely crafted with meticulous attention to detail, emphasizing its rich heritage and the artistry involved in its creation.

Champagnes from this house are typically characterized by their vibrant notes of citrus, apple, and hints of brioche, which develop over time into more complex flavors of almond and toasted bread as the wine ages. The 2015 Dom Perignon is expected to follow this pattern, offering a multi-layered taste experience with a long and satisfying finish.

The absence of specific reviews for this vintage means we can only anticipate its performance based on the producer's reputation and past vintages. Dom Perignon Champagnes are frequently lauded for their aging potential, which suggests that this 2015 edition may benefit from some cellar time to fully express its potential. Enthusiasts of the brand will likely find this vintage to be a worthy addition to their collection, echoing the luxurious essence that Dom Perignon consistently delivers.
