The nose is still reduced and only gives its smoky, flinty aroma. The palate, likewise, is still tightly closed and full of reductive smokiness. Underneath the reduction, concentrated citrus freshness becomes apparent. Great concentration and zestiness recall the freshness of tart lime and the aromatic vigor of tangerine. Wait for this, it will be phenomenal with bottle age. Drink 2022-2035.

Fragrant with jasmine and spicy mineral notes, this compact and creamy white is medium-bodied and harmonious, with vibrant acidity married to flavors of nectarine, fleur de sel, blood orange granita and lemon thyme. The intensely yellow colored 2016 Turckheim Riesling Heimbourg is from oligocene limestone soils in the hillside next to the winery- The wine opens with a clear, precise, piquant and herbal bouquet of crushed stones. On the palate, this is a very elegant, well-balanced, complex and crystalline Riesling with a long and stimulatingly salty finish with very fine tannins.
