It's a blend of Garnacha Negra, Garnacha Peluda and Cariñena with some 5% white grapes. It fermented with full clusters and indigenous yeasts in a 3,200-liter oak vat and matured in a similar 2,700-liter oak vat. It has great balance and is ripe and Mediterranean, without any excess; it's incredibly elegant and has character. In a way, it makes me think of a classical Châteauneuf, with fine tannins and subtle minerality. 4,071 bottles and 60 magnums were filled in April 2019. - LG

It has an exotic, perfumed style in its red and blue fruits, orange blossom, graphite, and spring flower-driven aromas and flavors. Elegant, incredibly pure, and full-bodied, with beautiful tannins, this thrilling wine is going to evolve gracefully for 10-15 years.

A highly complex, expansive bouquet evokes fresh, mineral-tinged raspberry and blueberry, exotic spices and pungent flowers. Shows superb clarity and spicy thrust to sharply delineated cherry and berry preserve, lavender pastille, licorice and spicecake flavors, which deepen through the midpalate. Blends power and delicacy with a sure hand and finishes impressively long and precise, with harmonious tannins and reverberating floral and mineral notes. -- Josh Raynolds
