Deep garnet-purple in color, it leaps from the glass with notes of crème de cassis, violets, blueberry compote and chocolate box with hints of exotic spices, kirsch and underbrush plus a waft of cigar box. Full-bodied and absolutely packed with black and blue fruit layers, it's lifted by a compelling perfume and lively backbone with the sexiest and most beautifully ripe tannins paving the long finish. 485 cases are expected to be made, to be released in the spring of 2019.-LPB
