The 2017 Trockenbeerenauslese Welschriesling 60 Years Anniversary is very clear and precise on the elegant nose that reveals lime zest, apricot, quince and peppery aromas. On the palate, this is a rich and elegant, piquant and stimulating bitter Welschriesling with vivacious acidity and serious mineral tension. 12% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Heady aromas of candied pineapple and melon, beeswax and candied lemon peel are enveloped in muskiness and have a tropical allure. The palate comes in with lusciously intense sweetness and elixir-like concentration. Every nuance drips with golden honey while piercing candied lemon freshness illuminates everything.
