The 2017 Chablis Tête d'Or is fabulous. Silky, elegant and beautifully perfumed, the 2017 is all class. White flowers, mint and pear are some of the many notes that grace the 2017, but what impresses most is the wine's persistence and total class. The 2017 is simply impeccable. -- Antonio Galloni

A discreet application of wood sets off the cool iodine-inflected aromas of tidal pool, pear and soft floral nuances that are trimmed in a touch of matchstick character. There is more volume and richness to the succulent yet punchy medium-bodied flavors that flash outstanding intensity on the citrusy and bone dry finale. This too is worth your interest and particularly so for its level as it's rare to find villages level Chablis of this quality.

This feels slightly more full and complex than some of the others in the line up. The nose offers white flowers and citrus fruits with a refined and finessed palate that has texture and lift from a good dose of acidity. From selected parcels in close proximity to premier and grand cru sites aged mostly in stainless steel with 20% oak.

(90+ points) One of the region's shrewd purchases is the 2017 Chablis Tête d'Or, an incipiently complex wine that derives from the domaine's most propitiously sited parcels. Opening in the glass with scents of green apple, lemon, oyster shell, smoke and dried white flowers, it's medium to full-bodied, satiny and precise, with an incisive spine of acidity and a tight-knit core that will reward at least a couple of years in the cellar.- WK
