(91-94) Pale yellow. Reserved aromas of tangerine, tangy peach, hazelnut and spicy oak are complicated by wet-stone minerality. At once thick and piquant, conveying a racier character than the broader, silkier Charmes. Classic dense, vibrant Genevrières with a long, slowly mounting finish that throws off notes of white truffle and flowers. This is superb. -- Stephen Tanzer

An overtly spicy nose speaks of essence of pear and apple along with acacia blossom, lavender and Asian-style tea. The sleeker and more refined medium-bodied flavors exhibit lovely minerality that, like the Narvaux, really comes up on the precise, indeed even chiseled, dry and linear finish. This isn't as dense as the Charmes but it's finer still plus offers a bit more overall depth.
