Label
Patria Oakville Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon is a classic Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon from talented winemaker Tony Biagi. Culling from his background as winemaker for Duckhorn, Plumpjack, CADE, and many other projects, Biagi started this personal label in 2013 with his friend Kimberly Jones. Biagi selected the Oakville Ranch Vineyard below the prized Weitz Vineyard to source his grapes. The wines show gripping, structured tannins and mineral and tobacco leaf characteristics that reflect their high-altitude, volcanic, hillside terroir.
The Cabernets tend to be concentrated and intense with rich layers or fruit. Due to their structure, the wines are age-worthy and can be enjoyed for decades.

Patria
Patria is a personal wine label created in 2013 by famed winemaker Tony Biagi with his longtime friend Kimberly Jones. Biagi, a sixth-generation Californian, has been the winemaking talent behind famous Napa and Sonoma names such as Duckhorn, Paraduxx, Neal Family Vineyards, PlumpJack, CADE, Hourglass, and Amici. Biagi also has also consulted for Clos Du Val, Jada, Lasseter, and My Favorite Neighbor.
Biagi always looks for great vineyards to work with in every winery project he's been involved with because he says it makes it easier to craft great wine. Biagi comes from a winemaking family with his father and stepfather both making wines in the 1970s. He took a winemaking class with Anne Noble at UC Davis and found his way into the wine industry with an internship at Hess.
Biagi uses grapes sourced from the Oakville Ranch Vineyard for Patria wines. The vineyard is located on the eastern edge of the Oakville District on a large hillside estate and is approximately 1,300 feet above sea level with red volcanic soils.
