(90-92 points) The 65 year old vines are located in the Troemes sector. Lemon and lime colour. Plenty of concentration here. Very dense right from the front of the palate. Some yellow fruit and a nice level of flesh, attractive complex finish, a little bit of greengage mixed in with the minerals.

The 2018 Beauroy from Domaine Fèvre has turned out very well indeed in this vintage. The bouquet delivers a mix of apple, lime, wet stone minerality, citrus peep and a topnote of orange blossoms. On the palate the wine is deep, pure and full-bodied, with crisp acids, lovely focus and balance, a good core and impressive lift on the backend. This is a touch more reserved in personality than the domaine AC bottling, and will want a few years in the cellar to stretch its wings. Fine juice.

The 2018 Chablis 1er Cru Beauroy has turned out beautifully, wafting from the glass with aromas of white flowers, crisp green orchard fruit, white peach, freshly baked bread and oyster shell. Medium to full-bodied, elegantly satiny and precise, it's bright and charming, with lively acids and a saline finish. - WK

The 2018 Chablis Beauroy 1er Cru is subtle on the nose, a little coaxing revealing beeswax and light passion fruit notes. The palate is lively on the entry, featuring tropical notes such as guava and again, passion fruit. A touch of dried honey appears toward the somewhat extravagant but appealing finish. This will be difficult to resist in its youth. -- Neal Martin
