The palate then displays juicy roundness in the form of ripe, yellow pear pervading chalky depth. Rich lemon-peel notes create contour and add mouthwatering brightness to this concentrated, understated wine that comes with subdued but distinct power. Drink 2025–2045. ANNE KREBIEHL MW

It offers up a sophisticated aromatic constellation of apple, pear, Kimmeridgian chalkiness, tangerine, white flowers and just a hint of upper register smokiness. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and even more mineral than the nose suggests, with a rock solid core, great cut and grip and a very long, complete and promising finish. Superb juice.

There is excellent volume to the delicious, lightly stony and notably powerful middle weight plus flavors that conclude in a very firm, clean, dry, long and youthfully austere finish.

Medium to full-bodied, muscular and textural, it's ample and fleshy, with ripe but racy acids and fine depth at the core. - WK

Peach, apple and lanolin aromas and flavors are the hallmarks of this white. Vivid and mouthwatering, it leaves a chalky feel on the finish. Best from 2021 through 2028. – BS
