This is bright and expressive on the nose, the fruit to the fore. The palate is juicy and refined, granular tannins bringing freshness and length on the finish. It's exuberant in style, even danses on the palate hence an early accessibility although it will age. Drinking Window: 2023 - 2036

Medium to deep garnet-purple colored, the 2018 Le Prieure prances out of the glass with flamboyant scents of rose oil, cinnamon toast, ground cloves and cedar chest over a core of Morello cherries, wild blueberries and plum preserves. The medium to full-bodied palate is charged with impressive energy and tension, featuring finely grained tannins to support the red and black fruit flavors, finishing long and fragrant. A beautiful, floral, elegant Saint-Emilion, the 2018 Château Le Prieure gives up lots of ripe red and black fruits, medium to full-bodied richness, ripe, sweet tannins, and beautiful depth and mid-palate concentration. This terrific 2018 already has up-front appeal yet should evolve for 10-15 years. It's the finest wine I've tasted from this estate.
