Seeing the same 16 months in 30% new oak, the 2018 Pinot Noir Solomon Hills Estate is a more closed, reductive effort offering meaty red and black fruits, flowers, white pepper, and a kiss of minerality. Clean, medium to full-bodied, flawlessly balanced, and lengthy on the palate, it's a terrific wine, but it really needs 2-4 years of bottle age.
