(92-94 points) The 2020 Chambolle-Musigny Aux Beaux Bruns ler Cru, containing 50% whole bunch, has an intense bouquet, dark berry fruit mixed with sea cave/marine scents, perhaps a touch of shucked oyster shell here. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-grain tannins, smooth and silky in texture with a fresh, taut and quite persistent finish. You will be smitten by its effervescent personality. (90-93 points) An agreeably fresh and spicy nose is comprised by notes of rose petal, violet, red currant and an equally subtle dollop of wood. The sleeker and more refined but less voluminous and concentrated medium-bodied flavors possess fine length on the moderately powerful but solidly persistent finale.

(90-93 points) 50% plus whole bunches, with the main stem removed, one third new wood. The Beaux Bruns shows a spicy whole bunch nose with some silk to the fruit behind, more Chambolle than it has sometimes been in the past, which Arnaud recognises.
