(95-97 points) Crushed citrus, mint, crushed stone, and white flower nuances all define the aromatics of the 2025 Château Suduiraut Vieilles Vignes, which is a blend of 66% Sémillon and 34% Sauvignon Blanc that's resting in 14% new barrels with the balance in once-used oak. It's medium-bodied on the palate, with a pure, focused mouthfeel, beautiful purity, flawless balance, and an incredibly seamless style. This has 13.7% alcohol with a pH of 3.39

Honeyed and fragrant peach and lemons on the nose with some floral elements and almond flecks. Round and succulent with a gorgeous texture but also so clean and precise, sitting on a cool base with touches of vanilla, cream, anise, cumin, bitterness and herbal aspects. I love this. Relatively quiet right now, less fruity and more powerful, mineral and floral, very nuanced. I expect this will grow in stature and flavour, but this is already great. Highest proportion of Semillon in the blend. A yield of 15 hl/ha (could reasonably hope for 25-28hl/ha). One or two tries through the vineyard for the dry wine, same process as for the sweet.

Clearly more luscious than its sibling wine Lions de Suduiraut, sets out its stall with depth and tension, apricot, nectarine, white mango, quince. This is selected from the same terroir as the main Suduiraut wine. 14% new oak for ageing, 3.39pH.

Medium-bodied, the palate is racy and energetic with orchard and citrus fruit layers and a saline finish.The blend is 66% Sémillon and 34% Sauvignon Blanc. It has a pH of 3.39 and the alcohol is 13.7%. It is aging in French oak barriques (14% new) for 9 months.

Waxy lemon peels, pears, honeysuckle, pineapples, white flowers and just a bit of white peach aromatics fill the perfume. (90-93 points) Very fresh and fruity with good acidity, high toned and spicy and good length this is a serious white wine that needs more attention. The taste is crunchy and elegant with notes of white flowers and chalk. It should have potential for aging as well.
