Made exclusively from Chardonnay from Avize (51%), Mesnil-sur-Oger (44%) and Villers-Marmery (5%), the 2007 Amour de Deutz Brut offers a clear, precise and yeasty bouquet with potted ginger, brioche and bread flavors on a very fine, pretty complex and elegant nose. The palate is pure and delicate yet tight and tensioned towards the finish. There is structure, great elegance, finesse, length and stimulating salinity. The 2007 is a complex and mineral but delicate Blanc de Blancs (lot LA111D07616) that combines power and persistency with finesse and elegance. Tasted in June 2018. - Stephan Reinhardt

This wine, now mature, shows a fine toast and yeast character. That still leaves room for crisp apple fruit and bright acidity, exuding a stylish elegance. It's poised with delicious balance. Drink now.
