Wine Enthusiast, December 2019

Collected, balanced and poised, this Champagne combines richness with freshness, and fruit with minerality. It is still a young wine ,with acidity shining through the texture. It will age impressively, ready to drink from...

Wine Spectator, September 2020

Finely knit, with a subtle, smoky mineral–laced underpinning, this elegant Champagne layers flavors of lemon curd and cassis with rich hints of grilled nut and crystallized honey. A bright backbone of acidity focuses this...

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, April 2019

Disgorged in February 2018 with five grams per liter dosage, Moët's 2012 Extra Brut Grand Vintage is showing well, unfurling in the glass with an expressive bouquet of ripe yellow orchard fruit, peaches, toasted nuts...

Wine & Spirits, December 2019

The 2012 vintage is, in fact, grand, and this wine lives up to its billing, incorporating a majority of red grapes (it’s 33 percent pinot noir and 26 percent meunier; the rest is chardonnay), lending it a lot of flesh on...

Decanter, November 2019

Grand Vintage 2012 is a surprising Champagne. Very lively, the nose is energetic and reveals notes of lemon and spring flowers, and some minty hints with aeration. The rather tense style is accentuated by the 5g/l dosage...

Vinous, July 2019

The 2012 Grand Vintage is a very pretty, high-toned Champagne. Surprisingly nervous for this radiant vintage, the 2012 is going to need a bit of time to be at its best. Some of that may be attributable to early release of...

Since 1743 when it was founded, Moet & Chandon has been passing down unequaled winemaking savoir-faire and an innovative and pioneering spirit from generation to generation. Founder Claude Moet was the first to embody these values when he made his Champagne the most sought-after in Europe. With his grandson, Jean Remy Moët, a pioneering and visionary mind, Moet & Chandon became a major international champagne brand. This saga quickly transformed the family House into a worldwide symbol of success.

The 1,190 hectares of rich limestone soil, 50% of which is classed as Grand Cru and 25% Premier Cru, make up the largest vineyard area in Champagne. Underground, the Moet & Chandon cellars are the most extensive in the region. Extending more than 28 kilometers, they form a subterranean labyrinth where the wine metamorphoses under optimum conditions of humidity and temperature.

Moet & Chandon is part of the luxury brands group LVMH, whose other prestigious wine holdings include Chateau d’Yquem, Cheval Blanc, Cloudy Bay, Krug, and Newton Vineyard, to name a few.
