It has a medium to full-bodied and ripe but succulent palate that's muscular and enveloping, with its generous core of fruit partially concealing a firm chassis of tannin. This, like the Pezerolles that preceded it, will demand some bottle age. - WK

Here too there is a lovely sense of verve and detail to the solidly stony larger-scaled flavors that, in much the same fashion as the Taillepieds, conclude in a chiseled and admirably persistent finish. This is clearly built for the very long-term and is a wine that will need at least some patience to unwind and develop more overall depth.
