Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, June 2026

94+ One of the finest wine produced by Reynald Delille, the 2025 Bandol Rosé is a compelling wine not to be missed. Wafting from the glass with aromas of red berries, pomegranate, spices and iodine, it's medium- to...

Vinous, June 2026

92+ The 2025 Bandol Rosé is potent, inward and very structured. Hallmark Bandol power is present in spades, but the 2025 is very coiled and compact through the mid-palate today. That said, revisiting the wine two hours...

Domaine de Terrebrune’s 2025 Bandol Rosé comes from the terraced, limestone-heavy hillsides of Ollioules in Provence, where the Delille family farms 30 hectares under certified organic viticulture. Founded by Georges Delille in the 1960s and now run by his son Reynald, the estate has long treated rosé as a serious Bandol wine rather than a simple warm-weather pour.

The blend is Mourvèdre-led—typically 50% Mourvèdre with 25% Grenache and 25% Cinsault—and the winemaking aims for structure and longevity. Grapes are harvested by hand and fully destemmed, with roughly half the juice taken by saignée and half by direct press. Fermentation is slow and cool, there is no malolactic conversion, and the wine rests 6–8 months in stainless steel on fine lees. The result is a dry rosé shaped by limestone, sea breezes, and a deliberate avoidance of softening tricks.

Critical reception for this vintage is notably strong. Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate calls it “one of the finest wine produced by Reynald Delille,” rating it 94+ and describing “aromas of red berries, pomegranate, spices and iodine,” followed by a “dense and tense” palate with “mineral acidity and a saline, perfumed character,” and a “long, calcareous and ethereal finish.” That is an excellent review, and it captures the wine’s signature mix of fruit, coastal savor, and chalky length.

Vinous also rates it highly at 92+, emphasizing Bandol’s natural muscle: “potent, inward and very structured,” with “dense, oily” texture and “grippy phenolics,” finishing on “apricot, graphite, chalk, mint and white pepper” (Billy Norris). Norris adds, “This is a wine for the cellar,” reinforcing Terrebrune’s reputation for rosé that can develop well beyond the usual drinking window.
