jamessuckling.com, June 2022

A little more bright and vibrant than the 744, with notes of poached pear, baked apple, grapefruit, lemon rind and pistachio. Fine bubbles with crisp acidity and a pure, fruity core. Very drinkable. 0.75g/L dosage...

Wine Spectator, December 2022

A firm, focused Champagne, with the lacy mousse carrying a lovely range of ripe yellow pear and cherry fruit, toast point, preserved lemon, ground ginger and anise flavors. A minerally underpinning of chalk and brine...

Jancis Robinson's Purple Pages, March 2022

Tight and tightly laced with some putty aromas. So savoury and mineral! Very distinctive. Should be long-lived. Admirably persistent. (Drink between 2022-2028) 17/20 points

Jacquesson is a champagne house with land holdings in two main areas - the Grande Vallee de la Marne (Ay, Dizy, Hautvillers) and the Cote des Blancs (Avize and Oiry). 80% of their grapes are estate, the rest coming from neighbors located in the same Crus. Traditional growing techniques and manual harvesting is practiced. Vinification is carried out in oak casks to allow the wine to breathe. Fermentation usually lasts for three to four months.

In addition to four single vineyard wines, Champagne Jacquesson, produces the Cuvee 700 range- blended wine coming from their three Grand Crus and two Premier Crus holdings. There is also a Cuvee 700 Degorgement Tardif which is aged for nine years before release.
