This mineral-driven version offers a smoky overtone to the flavors of poached pear and Meyer lemon zest, with hints of toasted brioche and almond. Subtle, offering a finely detailed bead and a spiced finish. Drink now... The Delamotte NV Brut is a bright, fresh and aromatic blend of approximately 55% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir and 10% Pinot Meunier that spends 30 to 36 months on the lees prior disgorgement. The current release is based on the 2014 harvest and was disgorged in 2017. It starts with fresh, bright fruit aromas intermixed with lovely brioche and nougat aromas and a delicate Kirsch tone. Mouthfilling, fine and fresh on the palate, this is a charming but serious Champagne from one of the region's oldest houses. - Stephan Reinhardt

Pale straw in the glass, this Champagne leads on the nose with notes of fresh apples and pears along with a touch of candied citrus. The fruit is pleasantly nuanced by a dry, stone-like minerality and baked pie crust... Pale straw in the glass, this Champagne leads on the nose with notes of fresh apples and pears along with a touch of candied citrus. The fruit is pleasantly nuanced by a dry, stone-like minerality and baked pie crust. Transitioning to the palate, this wine’s effervescence is subtle and elegant, with a crisp and vibrant acidic spine that makes it jump in the mouth. It leaves the drinker with a long, pleasant finish that perfectly coats the entire palate. Pair with good times of any kind, green salads or fresh seafood. It could cellar for another 5 years or so but it’s in a great spot now so why wait?
